Online Inventory Levels & About Rugs
Anglo Oriental is excited to announce that we now have online inventory levels available for our registered members, there is no more need to call in and check if an item is in stock. These values will be updated periodically and will be quite accurate. The change will give our customers the ability to check on stock levels outside of business hours.
We also want to mention that we have added an "About Rugs" section to the website. Here you will find printable documents such as: (CM-FT-IN) Conversion Chart, Spot Removal Guide, Glossary, and more...

Anglo Oriental is proud to announce the appointment of Americo Fernandes to the position of Vice President of National Network Sales.
President Bob Lindberg comments, "I am delighted to make this appointment. Americo joined the company 19 years ago and has been an outstanding asset, not just to the company and its many customers but also to me and the team at Anglo. This is recognition of his commitment and dedication to the company and to this industry."
Americo, in accepting his new position said "Since I first joined Anglo Oriental in 1991 I have brought the knowledge of the retail sector from the Eaton's era to a modern day age of wholesale carpet distribution in the ever changing Canadian market. In 2001, I was appointed Eastern Sales Manager focused on developing a sales force specializing in the diversified area rug market. Throughout the years of travelling to many world market shows and visiting countries of manufacture, I have learned so much and I am excited to accept the challenge of this new appointment."
Anglo Oriental is a family company that entered the Canadian market in 1951.
On the eve of its 6th decade, this appointment ensures yet another 50 years.

We have been in the handmade flooring industry in Europe since the late 1800s, supplying retailers in Canada since 1950. The business has grown and now Anglo supplies Canada from Coast to Coast. From our modern 30,000 square foot facility in Toronto, and offices in Vancouver, BC we are one of the largest and most respected wholesalers of oriental and decorator rugs and carpets in Canada. Anglo Oriental specializes in both "programmed" lines of decorator carpets and rugs, which are contained in this website, and unique one of a kind pieces as well.
